mc-delta-t aint no sucka’.
He sure used to be though.
From birth till about the age of 18, mc-delta-t was one of the wackest rappers you would have ever had the displeasure of hearing. Luckily he was aware of this fact and smart enough not to rap in public.
But rap he did in the privacy of his own home, and wrote rhymes too. After writing about 25 TERRIBLE verses to the “Shook Ones Pt. 2″ instrumental, he realized he was going to need more than 1 beat, and preferably one that wasn’t already a well known song. Not wanting to take the chance of getting clowned for his extreme wackness, Delta decided against seeking out people actually involved in hip-hop for help. Instead he stayed in his bedroom (alone), fired up LimeWire, and pirated a copy of Fruity Loops 3.0. After months of not knowing what the hell he was doing (wtf is a compressor?!?!), and dozens of awful (no really, AWFUL) “beats”, he finally produced a decent track. Then another, and another. So that made 3 decent beats total. Pairing those with 3 passable beats, he rapped about robots and sci-fi shit, and politics and called it Robot Wars. It was a 6 song EP hailed by Delta’s mother as a masterpiece.
Later, recording hippies at Rolands jam manor, Delta met a long haired, synth playing, oral surgeon named Charlie. Charlie told Delta about another young man who was into that rapping stuff and might he like to meet him? Sure, he might. And they did. Can you guess who the other young man was?
It was rapper extraordinaire ADM.
Thus birthing The Unified Theory.
Thanks Charlie.
